Greg Glover
Hello my friends,
I am a retired building inspector. I was in the Marine Corps from 79-83. I was discharged honorably as a Corporal (E4).
I have been hunting and shooting for over 40 years. My hunting experience has been mainly Quail hunting. I started going with my father when I was 7. Hunting Quail became a family tradition. I have past it down to my daughter. I have been on one combined hunt, deer and elk. Unfortunately, I had no luck. I believe the party only harvested one deer.
As for shooting, I have done a good amount. I figure I have gone through 20,000 rifle rounds, 10,000 handgun rounds and 40,000 shotgun shells. I belonged to a gun club for about 5 years. The gun club hosted Palma (800, 900 and 1000yds) and 1000 yard.
I am a prolific reloader. Of the thousands of rounds I have discharged, 99% were my own reloads. I’m not counting the plinking I have done with a .22. For fun I created a wildcat. I call it .284 Achilles. It’s made by cutting down a 7mm Remington Ultra Mag. To fit into a standard or Mauser action.
